I created this blog as a way
for me to speak out against the unfair treatment of fathers who are going
through the court system for a divorce. I understand that by focusing primarily
on the injustice of it all, I take the risk of sounding like a whiner. I also acknowledge
the fact that just because I am willing to be an open book on here, the
internet is an unreliable source for being able to be truly understood.
However, I have to start
somewhere. The purpose of this blog is to speak out just enough so that the next
guy in line doesn’t feel alone when it’s his turn to face the divorce court
system. We can better handle adversity if we know we’re not going through it by
ourselves. As time goes on and more voices are spoken and heard then maybe one
day I can blog about how to cook the perfect turkey, but for right now, I’m
pissed off and people are going to hear about it.
